Zoho Mail can be faster than the Internet in Android email. When messages from a Zoho Mail inbox are added as an Exchange Activesync account, they appear a little as they arrive at your address. It not only offers a push outbox but it also offers the possibility of accessing all your Zoho Mail files and the messages therein are not delivered at the same time. Configure Zoho Mail as a push email account in Android email

 It is only with paid accounts that Exchange Activesync is available for Zoho Mail. The following steps help you to add Zoho Mail as an Exchange Activesync push account to Android mail:

o Open email;

o If you do not have an existing email account configured in your email program, you will be prompted to configure an account. Tap Add new account. In case you already have an existing account, go to Settings and choose Add account to add your Zoho email account;

o Type your Zoho email address in the Email address field;

o Enter your Zoho password in the Password field;

o Press manual configuration;

o You are asked to select the type of account. Choose Microsoft Exchange Activesync;

o Enter your email address in the Email address field;

o Enter username (replacing "username" with your Zoho username) in the Domain / username field;

o Enter msync.zoho.com under Exchange server;

o Make sure that the option use a secure connection (SSL) is checked. You can let use the unchecked client certificate.

o Press Next;

o Make sure that the Synchronize emails from this account option is checked;

o Now make sure that the Automatic option (push) is selected under Inbox check frequency;

o Choose the number of email days you want to synchronize automatically;

o Optional:

• Check Synchronize contacts from this account to have the Zoho Mail address book added to Android People as an additional account.

• Check the synchronization calendar from this account to add your default Zoho Mail calendar to the Android calendar.

• Additional calendars configured in Zoho calendars will not be available in the Android calendar.

• Adding Zoho calendars will not interfere with existing calendars.

o Also optional, check the Notify me when an email arrives to receive new notifications box;

o Press Next;

o Enter an account title different from your Zoho Mail address under Assign a name to this account (optional) if you wish;

o Press Next again.

Be aware that it is the inbox only that will receive push email processing and of automatic synchronization even if you select Automatic (push) for synchronization folders from another folder.
