Learn how to briefly delete your items bypassing the Recycle Bin in Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail, or Outlook Express.
There is a shortcut that allows you to permanently delete a message in Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail or Outlook Express but also in Outlook.com without sending it to the Trash folder. With these programs try to do it but know that with Mail for Windows 10 this shortcut does not work.
It is important to delete something illegal from your computer in one step. By pressing the Delete key, the e-mail will be sent by these programs to the Trash folder instead of getting rid of it immediately and permanently. This is a good safety net but it is the removal without a net that you often need.
How to bypass the trash
The immediate deletion of an email in Windows Live Mail, Windows Mail or Outlook Express without going through the trash is as follows:
• Hold down the Shift key while pressing Delete;
• Click on Yes.
With these programs, you will no longer recover deleted items which is why you have to be careful when doing this with this shortcut, but with Outlook com it is possible to recover permanently deleted items from time to time.
