For a better visualization of your documents, use the options of Windows Mail or Outlook to enlarge the larger size of your font.
Fonts do not increase when there is an increase in monitor resolutions. Even if the default is not perfect for your eyes, it is easier to change the display font in Windows Mail or Outlook Express to a larger size which is better because modern screens and operating systems give you options.
Read mail in an increased font size
Do this so that you read a message in a larger font size in Windows Mail or Outlook Express:
• Select Display / Text size from the menu;
• Choose your preferred font size.
An even faster way to make larger fonts
The quick alternative to achieve this is this: move the mouse cursor over an open message or the preview pane, hold down the ctrl key and scroll down with the mouse wheel. Scroll down if you want to decrease the font size.
You can also print your emails in a larger font in Windows Mail or Outlook Express but with a little more tweaking.
Read all messages in a larger font in Outlook Express
Follow these steps if you want Outlook Express to display all messages in plain text and with a large enough font size:
• Make sure Outlook Express is configured to use only plain text;
• Select Tools / Options ... from the menu in Outlook Express;
• Go to the Read tab;
• Click on Fonts ... under Fonts;
• Make sure the largest (or of course a different size) is selected under Font size;
• Click OK;
• Now click OK again.
Operating systems such as Windows Mail or Outlook Express give you options that will allow you to enlarge your font size for good viewing. You can now read mail in a much larger font size, and if you see that a little slow, there is another faster way to make larger fonts. This article also teaches you how you can read all of your messages in a larger font using Outlook Express of course.
