Automatically use an image in a Thunderbird signature - Intertuto

Learn how to personalize your Thunderbird electronic signature with a photo. It's simple if you are reading this article.

               The easiest way to specify yourself, show who your bouquet is and advertise your business or product effortlessly is to put email signatures in each email. Mozilla Thunderbird via its email client makes it easy to attach an image to your signature. You can modify electronic signatures each time you compose a new message or delete them for different reasons even if you like them so much. That's what's good here.

Add a picture to your signature of Mozilla Thunderbird

Follow these steps once Thunderbird is open and ready to work:

 Compose a new blank message using HTML formatting. If a signature already appears when you write a new message, delete everything in the body of the message;

 Generate the signature to your liking (including the text to include) and use the Insert menu, then image of the message to insert an image in the body. Resize if necessary. It is possible to insert an image to your website also by double-clicking on the image or when you insert the image, before clicking OK, place a URL in the Link tab of the Properties window of the 'picture;

 Go to the File menu option, then Save as, then File .... If you do not see the menu bar, press the Alt key;

 Before saving the image, make sure that the Save as type option is set to HTML;

 Choose a name for the file (for example, "signature.html") and click Save to store it in a recognizable location;

 Close the new message you created, you don't have to save the draft;

 Go to Tools, then on Account settings from the menu bar (you can press the Alt key if you do not see the menu);

 Click on the email address in the left pane for any account that must use the personalized electronic signature;

 On the right page, towards the bottom of Window account settings, put a box in the option called Attach signature from a file instead (text, HTML, or image). This option will immediately disable any signature text included in the section just above this option. If you want to use the text in this area, be sure to copy and paste it into your signature file above, then re-save it in the HTML file before continuing;

 Click the Choose ... button next to this option to find and select the HTML file that was saved in step 5;

 Click Open to select the signature file;

 Click OK in the Account Settings window to save the changes.
