Follow these instructions to get set up and send email through your Inbox.com account in Mozilla Thunderbird.

Using Inbox.com in Mozilla Thunderbird

Proceed in this manner once you want to configure downloading and sending e-mail by your Inbox.com account via Mozilla Thunderbird:

 Activate POP access in Inbox.com;

 Select Tools, then Account Settings from the Mozilla Thunderbird menu;

 Click on Add account;

 Make sure the email account is selected;

 Click on Continue;

 Enter your name under Your name;

 Type your Inbox.com email address under Email address;

 Click on Continue;

 Choose POP under Select the type of incoming server you are using;

 Type "my.inbox.com" under incoming server;

 Click on Continue;

 Enter your full Inbox.com address (tima.template@inbox.com, for example) under Incoming User Name. You will only need to add @ inbox.com to what Mozilla Thunderbird has already entered for you;

 Click on Continue;

 Type a name for your new Inbox.com account under Account name (Inbox.com for example);

 Click on Continue;

 Click Done.

There you can now receive Inbox.com email via Thunderbird. The activation of the sending is done as follows:

• Highlight outgoing server (SMTP) in the list of accounts on the left;

• Click on Add;

• Type "my.inbox.com" under Server name;

• Make sure the user name and password are checked;

• Type your full Inbox.com address under Username;

• Click OK;

• Highlight the Inbox.com account that you previously created;

• Under Outgoing server (SMTP), make sure that my.inbox.com is selected;

• Click OK;

• Click on Done.

It is in the Mailbox sent online folder of Inbox.com that a copy of all your sent messages will be stored.
