Instructions for sending mail from a different account in iOS Mail and learn how to use multiple accounts in iOS mail.
Do you want to send and receive emails from one or more accounts? Use the Stock Mail app for iOS. Setting up a second email account (or a later one) causes the functionality to specify the outgoing account for a given message to be unlocked.
N.B: this procedure has been tested on iOS 12, but it works on all earlier versions of iOS currently supported.
How to send mail from a different account in iOS Mail
Follow the steps below if you want to choose the account from which an email or reply you compose in iPhone Mail will be sent:
Start with a new message or reply in iPhone Mail;
Press Cc / Bcc, from;
Press the From line;
Choose the desired address from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the window;
Continue to address, compose and send the message.
Using multiple accounts in iOS messaging
Changing the line of your outgoing message also changes the account from which the message is sent.
By registering for an iCloud account and a Gmail account on your iPhone for example, switching from one account to another when sending a message will cause the outgoing message to appear in the Sent messages folder of this account and you will get replies in the inbox of the account that sent it. It just means that you are changing the address that governs the particular message it is not just the account.
